Recently I decided to not look at any tutorials and just cut up some fabric and start sewing. The result was this cute little box bag! I’m  not sure what I will use it for but I thought it looked really cute. 

Sometimes I find that really effective when you are trying to improve your skill; just using your memory of past tutorial techniques you have learned to create something new. Sometimes it is trial and error and I might have to use my seam ripper to back track. However, I find that making these mistakes helps me visualize how things piece together which minimizes errors in future projects.
